IBC External Degree Dept.

Over 1.6 million students are  enrolled in distance education courses across the United States

(Department of Education Statistics)

One of the fastest growing areas of education is Distance Learning. This area of education is designed for adult learners who due to financial, family or career responsibilities, are not able to enroll in a full-time resident program but desire to continue their education.

Indiana Bible College is interested in assisting you to pursue a Bibliocentric education.  You may take Bible / Theology courses by correspondence through our Distance Learning Office and earn an Associate's Degree in Bible / Theology after successfully completing 64 semester hours, and a Bachelor's Degree after completing 128 semester hours.

Students desiring to earn a degree must possess a High School Diploma or its equivalent. Students not possessing a diploma may enroll in the program and receive a Certificate of Completion in lieu of a Degree. The student must designate a local instructor / mentor, preferably a licensed minister, such as their pastor. If the student is a pastor, then their presbyter, a neighboring pastor, or a deacon in their church will be acceptable. The instructor / mentor's responsibilities will be: 1) To confirm that all study questions and self-help tests are completed before administering final exam; and 2) To administer exams provided to student by IBC. The instructor / mentor will acknowledge acceptance of their responsibilities by signing an Instructor / Mentor Commitment Form. This form will be sent to the student upon receipt of student's application for enrollment to be completed and returned to IBC.
