MISSIOLOGY
Missiology is a degree designed to provide training for missionaries and others who serve or plan to serve in intercultural ministry and church multiplication positions. At IBC, we believe that as a Christian Bible College, it is our duty to train students to apprehend challenges inside the church and out into the vast, unpredictable world. The Missiology studies at Indiana Bible College is pointed towards those that have a call or passion for missions. The wide spectrum of Christian ministry requires both comprehensive and highly specialized training, Several Christian Bible Colleges make it a point to teach on these courses. But to meet these demands Indiana Bible College students are exposed to a core set of courses and practicums which will enable them to gain critical theological training and be able to make practical application in real ministry contexts.

Theology
The Biblical Studies department and Theology program at Indiana Bible College is focused on the process of training Apostolic ministry with the necessary tools for effective ministry. Now is the time for us to answer the call, to be motivated, equipped and deployed into our world to show the power of Apostolic doctrine and truth to redeem this broken world we live in!

In the Theology program at Indiana Bible College, you will be studying the distinctives of Apostolic doctrine including the Doctrine of Salvation, the Oneness of God, Christian Worldview, Holiness, the Doctrine of the Spirit and other basic essentials equipping you to handle objections to our biblical beliefs, as commonly taught in Christian Bible Colleges. Further, you will be exposed to other classes like Science and the Bible dealing with modern objections to the Bible and Christianity. Classes such as Systematic Theology 1 and 2 show the interconnectedness of all we say about God and His Word, while classes such as Contemporary Theology highlight where we are today in terms of the current wider theology of the world and how we got there. Classes such as Apologetics, Archeology and the Bible, Religion Analysis and more show the best ways to reach the world we live in today with the truth of God Word.
As a Missiology student, I have learned to live with a mission every day. Missions is a way of life and missions happens on both domestic and foreign soil. Missions is not limited to a particular place. It begins with your sphere of influence.”
Lydia Gannon | Class of 2018
Students in the Missiology program meet in smaller groups for outreach and other practical missions activities such as outreach ministry, jail ministry, local prison, and neighborhood outreach. Each weekend two outreach teams of students prepare and go out into an outreach setting to win and disciple the lost.

While you are at Indiana Bible College, you will have the opportunity to find out about long-term missions and meet leaders from various missionary settings both in Global missions and North American missions. This will afford the student time with seasoned missionaries and staff to ask questions, get to know them, allow them to know you and to prayerfully consider long-term service in missions. Indiana Bible College is proud to provide students with personal hands-on experiences to help vitalize their Christian Bible College learning experience.

The Indiana Bible College Missiology degree will prepare students to understand the Christian worldview, have a global vision, and be well prepared for various career and ministry possibilities including:
